Pearl Masterworks: Pearl Masterworks drums are some of the only truly customizable drums around right now. Wood types can be blended within one drum, the number of wood plies can be specified, finish, hardware, etc. The Pearl Masterworks Price is very steep- Professionals only.

Pearl Reference Drums: Pearl Reference Drums feature and innovative drum kit design which features different ply depths and blends of wood, depending on the size of the drum. Highly customizable, but expensive.

Pearl Masters MCX: Pearl Masters MCX drums feature 6 ply maple shells, and Pearl MCX drums are definitely some of the least expensive professional drums ever made.

Pearl Vision Drums: Replacing both the Pearl Session and Export lines, Pearl Vision Drums pro-quality parts for a reasonable price. A variety of kit configurations and wood choices are available with a Pearl Vision drum set.

The Pearl Forum Series: The Pearl Forum Series are Pearl Drums' entry-level drum kits, including the Pearl Forum FZ. Forum Drums have 6 ply, 7.5mm Poplar shells, and come as a complete package that includes heads, sticks, hardware and instructional DVD.

The Pearl Rhythm Traveler: The Pearl Rhythm Traveler is advertised as a “practice and gigging kit-in-one”. The Rhythm Traveler features interchangeable plastic and mesh heads, and reduced shell depths for easy transport. Also, the Pearl Rhythm Traveler drum set includes cymbals, and all of your drum hardware, so it is fantastically easy to set up and play.

Pearl E-Pro: Pearl E pro live drums are the most advanced electronic drums in the world right now. Pearl E-pro drums come with over 1000 pre-defined sounds, 100 pre-defined drum sets, space for user defined sounds. In addition, the  “memory switch” function allows the E-Pro Live to be outfitted with several “ultra hi-definition” drum kits for a small fee ($25-$50).

If you are looking for the best deal you can find on Pearl Drum Kits, I'd definitely start with online resources like musicians friend or another online retailers, as these types of stores often will buy at wholesale price and sell them for way cheaper than you can find in stores.

However, buying a Used Pearl Drum Kit might not be such a bad idea, either. Used drum sets, like any other used instruments, often have a sort of stigma to them, but in reality they are just as good.

When you buy a used drum set, you will also find that you can usually get many more accessories along with it such as your drum stands, sticks, heads, and sometimes even cymbals.
